After a rather ugly 9-0 loss in Cobb County on Saturday, the Tampa Bay Rays will look for a series win in the rubber match of the set this afternoon.
Not wanting to fall 2.5 behind the Boston Red Sox, who won their contest last night, the Tampa Bay Rays came from behind to defeat Atlanta, 7-6, in extra innings.
With the 2021 All-Star Break behind them, the Tampa Bay Rays will travel to Cobb County where they will open a three-game set against Atlanta on Friday.
After taking two of three from Toronto Buffalo in the Opening Series this past weekend, the Tampa Bay Rays look to continue their success on Monday, when they start a four-game set against Atlanta. They’ll play two games at Tropicana Field before heading to Cobb County for the final two games of the series.
