According to Ken Rosenthal (Fox Sports) and Marc Topkin (Tampa Bay Times), the Tampa Bay Rays are in talks with the Rockies regarding a potential trade for Colorado outfielder Corey Dickerson. While a trade may not be inevitable at the moment, it is not hard to see how one could make sense, given that Tampa Bay appears to be in the market for another impact bat.

One of those players is reportedly close to signing a two year contract extension with the Rays, while the others may or may not avoid arbitration.
Stadium Saga: St. Petersburg City Council approves of Rays stadium proposal
St. Petersburg appears to be ready to move forward. By a 5-3 vote Thursday afternoon, St. Petersburg City Council approved Mayor Rick Kriseman’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will give the team permission to explore new regional stadium sites within Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.
