Looking Backward While Moving Forward: Bedard, Rays Fall in Ugly 8-1 Loss

Yikes, last night’s 8-1 loss to the Tigers wasn’t pretty — thank god for second chances. The true test will be how well the Rays can bounce back tonight.

The Tampa Bay Rays’ 11-game road gauntlet has gone well so far, and they’ll attempt to continue their success this weekend, when they head to Detroit for a four game wrap around series against the Tigers. Tampa Bay has lost nine of their last 15 games, though they’ve averaged over three runs per game in that stretch.
