Noteworthiness: The Rays will try to brush the embarrassment of losing to the Jay off of their shoulders, and take game two of their current four game set. Peña is again getting the start on the right side of the bench, with Ryan Roberts at second and Jeff Keppinger at first. Luke Scott is back at DH and hitting seventh, while Matt Joyce is back in right hitting fifth. It bears mentioning, the Rays are the first AL team be shutout six times in a month while also having a winning record that month since the ’73 Yankees. They’re making history, for sure. However, they’re finding themselves on the wrong side of history.
