- Joe Smith of the Times reports that Alex Cobb has talked with the Blue Jays LHP J.A. Happ through text messages, and has been exchanging stories. He’s also happy that Happ will pitch here this weekend. He went on to say, that LHP reliever Wesley Wright was surprised to get traded from Houston, but is excited to be part of pennant race.
