Please take a listen to this audio clip of an interview with Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers on the Dan Patrick Show yesterday before the final game of the Rays-Rangers series. When Dan Patrick asks Hamilton who the best team in the American League is right now, Hamilton says, “I would have to say right now the Yankees.” Are you serious! You’re kidding me right?!?!?!?! The show was recorded just a couple of hours before the Rangers were swept by the Rays! Not to mention the night before…the Rays owned the Rangers 10-1! Hamilton, who came in to the series hitting .362, went 1-10 with 4 strikeouts, 1 BB, and 1 RBI for the series…but, the Yankees are the best team in the American League!?!?! Dude, when you come back to Tampa Bay do you go in to withdrawl or something? Because you just aren’t making any sense? Sounds like to me you are kissing the Yankees ass, because you want to play for them. You would be a perfect fit in the Bronx with all of the other asswipes! Heroin, Cocaine, Steroids…whatever…the Yankees don’t care.
UPDATE: The one and only RBI that Josh Hamilton had in the Rays-Rangers series was a groundout RBI…good job buddy.
