Officials from the City of St. Petersburg presented its Baseball Forever stadium pitch to the Tampa Bay Rays Wednesday afternoon.

From the city’s press release:

The pitch, a 43-page presentation responding to the Rays’ 2016 ‘New Ballpark Site Evaluation Process Document’, is an overview of the Tropicana Field site’s potential as a dynamic forever home for the team, and includes letters of support from many of Pinellas County’s largest employers. HSN, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Nielsen, Raymond James, and Valpak are among the 15 corporations who have committed to keeping the team in St. Petersburg.

At 5:30 PM, Mayor Kriseman, Mr. Steinocher, and Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin will address fans at a ‘Baseball Forever’ celebration at Ferg’s Sports Bar located across the street from Tropicana Field.

Mayor Rick Kriseman will wrap up the day’s events by throwing out the first pitch at the Rays/Yankees game at Tropicana Field tonight. You can read the full stadium proposal — and the related documents — below, as well as at the Baseball Forever website.
