The Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox took their Grapefruit League contest into extra innings on Monday. Thankfully the good guys came away with a 3-2 victory over the Massholes. The Rays ended the day with a 3-3 record in exhibition play.

Jake Odorizzi allowed four unearned runs in the first inning on Sunday afternoon, as the Minnesota Twins took the first game of the Knutson Classic from the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-4. It was the the first time this Spring a Rays starter allowed a run.

The Tampa Bay Rays lost 7-2 to the Boston Red Sox on Friday, although it was a succesful day for starter Chris Archer, who posted two solid innings in his Spring Training debut.
