After a pair of wins collected against the Yankees and Orioles on Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Rays will face the Red Sox in Port Charlotte this afternoon. Matt Andriese will get the start opposite of Kyle Kendrick.
The first round of Spring Training roster cuts are expected at some point Wednesday, as minor league games start today and the Rays have completed their only set of split-squad contests. Roster cuts are never easy, yet Rays manager Kevin Cash hopes to mitigate things by way of the message he will instill in the minor leaguers this afternoon:

After Andriese, southpaw Xavier Cedeno will take the mound, as will righties Tommy Hunter, David Carpenter, Danny Farquhar and Ryan Garton.
