TNWN: Rays look to cap the season finale against Baltimore with a win

After earning their fourth consecutive win against the Orioles on Saturday, 3-1, the Tampa Bay Rays look to do something rare and unusual this afternoon: sweep a five-game set.

Tyler Glasnow battled through five innings on Friday night, while Tampa Bay’s bullpen made a one-run lead hold up for the remaining four frames, as the Rays defeated the Orioles on Friday, of 2-1.

LBWMF: Rays sweep doubleheader, punch postseason ticket

The Tampa Bay Rays swept the doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday — winning 3-1 in the first game, and 10-6 in the second — and in doing so, they punched their ticket to a second consecutive postseason berth; the sixth playoff berth in franchise history.
