― JP Arencibia is in the lineup again tonight, hitting ninth and catching.
― Steven Souza Jr. said his batting practice session went well, telling Marc Topkin (Tampa Bay Times) he felt “no soreness anywhere.” The outfielder will play three games with the Durham Bulls then be reevaluated Monday. If he needs more At-bats, he’ll go to Port Charlotte. If not, he’ll head to Detroit for the series against the Tigers.
