― As expected, the Rays activated Steven Souza Jr.(fractured hand) from the DL this afternoon. He will get the start in right field tonight, hitting sixth.
― Desmond Jennings (knee) and Curt Casali (hamstring) put their “injured wheels” to the test by running the bases this afternoon at the Trop. Rays manager Kevin Cash said there is a chance both Jennings and Casali could return to game action during this home stand.
